So... it has been cold and rainy as of late and playgroup hasn't been happening.  What if we just keep going to the same park as January for February.  I am actually going out of town until mid-February and will not be at playgroup.  Since it has been cold and wet, if anyone would like to host playgroup at their house or know of an indoor location just email me lindseybonham@gmail.com and I can post it on this blog. 

I hope to see more of you when the weather starts to warm up :)

January 2013

Just thought I would get a head start on January because I will probably forget with the holidays coming up and being out of town. 

We should meet at Linkwood Park at 3699 Norris Dr.  I have never been here, but it was a recommendation.  9:30!

December

We will be meeting this month at the Old Braeswood park at the crossing of  Maroneal and Morningside Dr.  It is a fun park with a play structure and a bunch of donated toys.  We will keep playgroup on Wednesdays at 9:30am.  See you there.

Join your local superheroes as Children’s Memorial Hermann at Memorial City Medical Center and H-E-B host an enchanting and ever-so-adventurous Superhero Day for the little ones in your life.

• All kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero.
• Meet local superheroes such as: firefighters, emergency medical personnel, police officers, the Memorial HermannLife Flight® team, Memorial Hermann pediatricians and the Children’s Memorial Hermann Emergency Center doctors.
• Have a fun-filled afternoon which includes a costume contest, bunji trampoline, face painting, balloon artists, rock wall,ninja challenge obstacle course, pony rides, kids karaoke and much, much more.
• Enjoy delicious food and refreshments from some of the best local food trucks in Houston.

End of September/October

Hi Everyone!

Come to the playground (the one on the side of the pool) located on the intersection of Newcastle and Evergreen in Bellaire! It's where the Nature Discovery Center is. Again, we'll meet on WEDNESDAYS and I'm going to change the time to 9:30am starting September 19th. (I changed the time to a little earlier because it gets too hot later in the morning now that we're doing non water stuff. :) We'll go here for the next 6 weeks.

I'm thinking for the 31st of October, having a fun Halloween costume/cookie frosting/games playgroup at the church! Let me know if you're interested in helping bringing sugar cookies or frosting or coming up with some simple games or coloring activities.

Also, FYI, I'm going next Friday, the 28th of September, to the Miller Outdoor Theater for Hansel and Gretel. 11am. If you want to join me, let me know! (832) 588-0202

Also, I'll be going with my kids to the Nature Discovery Center Pumpkin Patch/Games on Saturday, October 20th. It starts at 11am and goes until 4pm. I'll show up right at 11am. The games are fairly cheap and you can purchase your pumpkin there, too. I think we even did a hayride, and that was fun for the kids! Check it out. Again, let me know if you want to meet me there!
