If you don't want to get wet there is a nice playground with swings right next to the splash pad.  It is surrounded by trees for shade.  

SUMMER 2013

For June, July, and August we are going to the Tingey's Pool!

Angie is so nice to offer their pool at their complex.  If you haven't been, it is perfect for the young kids.  There is a large shallow area supposed to be for sunbathers, but also a perfect for toddlers!

Parking garage on the right of the leasing office. 

When you come into the garage just go to the left and park in any spot that isn't handicap or reserved.  The pool is on the other side of the garage wall.

Weather is so up and down these days.  There is a splash pad/park that playgroup was hosted at last summer.  If the weather is warm, wear swimsuits.  If the weather is colder or rainy, there is a playground that is completely shaded.  Hope to see you there.

Sorry this is last minute, but I have family in town and completely forgot about playgroup.  I won't be there tomorrow (first thurs of the month), but I plan to be there the following weeks.  There is a great playground that I think is fun to go to so let's try it out. 

It is on the corner of Carnegie and Wakeforest Ave.  It is close to Kirby and Holcombe when you are looking at a map.

DAY CHANGE

I have been talking with the moms that come to playgroup regularly and Wednesday has become more busy so we decided to change playgroup to THURSDAYS same time 9:30.  Hopefully this will work better for more people.  We are still meeting and Weir Park.

February 2013

So... it has been cold and rainy as of late and playgroup hasn't been happening.  What if we just keep going to the same park as January for February.  I am actually going out of town until mid-February and will not be at playgroup.  Since it has been cold and wet, if anyone would like to host playgroup at their house or know of an indoor location just email me lindseybonham@gmail.com and I can post it on this blog. 

I hope to see more of you when the weather starts to warm up :)
