May 24th and 31

Hi playgroup ladies,

I'm changing the location for playgroup for the next two Thursdays(24th and 31st) to the Hermann Park splash pad. I will personally be out of town, until June playgroup. We'll meet at 10am and the splash pad is located near Fannin Street and Cambridge. (southeast - ish corner) park in the parking lot off of cambridge street before reaching Fannin St. I'd look on a map online if you've never been there before. Have fun!

Hi Ladies! FYI, because it's getting warm, I'm going to go this morning a little earlier. I'm going to shoot to leave my house around 9am to catch some cooler time. I think Kyrsten told me that she'll be there around 9:30am. See you all soon! Amanda (832) 588-0202

Hey Everyone! Playgroup will meet at Colonial Park, located east of the 610 and north of Bellaire blvd. off of Academy Street. Just type in the name "colonial park Houston, TX" in http://maps.google.com/ and it'll show you where it is. It's a really nice, gated park...hope to see you there!    This week, Thursday, May 3rd, instead of going to colonial park, we will have playgroup at the miller outdoor theater(located within Hermann Park-again google map miller outdoor theater, and it'll show you). There's a children's play that starts at 11am. I'm going to bring lunches for us and will eat afterward up on the hill. Bring blankets, kite, anything else you think we'd enjoy doing afterward! The plays are usually under an hour.


***Also, if the weather gets killer hot later this month, look out for a change in our location....we might move to someone's pool or the Hermann Park splash pad. :)

April 26th Playgroup

Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to let you all know that instead of meeting at the nature playground for April 26th, we'll be meeting at the church in the cultural hall. Bring balls and bikes. :) We'll have VT interviews going on during that time, so if you want to kill two birds with one stone, sign up next week to have your interview! April Playgroup

Hi everyone!

We'll have our playgroup this month at the park on Evergreen and Newcastle in Bellaire. We'll go to the one on the same side as the swimming pool. Let's go for 10am too, because it's going to get warmer this month. Next Thursday, April 5th, we'll have our Easter Egg Hunt at the park. Bring a bag or basket and at least 5 "stuffed" eggs per child. We'll do the hunt around 11am after the kids play a bit. Call for any questions or whatever! March Playgroup

Hi sisters! For the month of March, we'll be meeting again every
Thursday between 10am-10:30am at the playground across Bellaire City
LIbrary, near the swimming pool. Because it's hard to explain
directions, please just go on google maps online and type in "Bellaire
City Library, Jessamine Street, Bellaire, TX". You'll see a big green
park north of the library and that's where we're meeting. I recommend
parking off of 5th street. If you have questions, call me! Amanda
(832) 588-0202. We will meet also the week of the rodeo trip on Thurs.

Oh, and this is optional, but we're going as a ward to the rodeo March
7th, Wednesday. We're going to meet at 9:30am at the gate.(Trust me, around 10-10:30am all of the buses come with the elementary school kids! Park in
Yellow Lot (Public). Parking(cash) is $12. A tram will take you to the gate. Enter Gate 16 off Main St www.rodeohouston.com/guest-services/handicap.aspx.
The entrance fee for the livestock show is $2.50 dollars a person over the age of 2 for this value wednesday
we're attending.) I am going to pay at the gate, it's easy and you can pay with credit card. Oh, and
I am not attending, so can one of you who can go for sure at 9:30am let me know and then I can give ya'll her phone number so you all can be in contact with each other?

February 9th Valentines Day Playgroup!

Hi sisters! We'll go to the same park as listed for February, but I have a couple of ideas to make it fun. Can each of you bring a few valentines to share with everybody? ALso, we'll make a valentine bag together to put the valentines in. Also, I think I'll ask a couple of us to bring heart-shaped cookies and someone else to bring frosting.
