July Playgroup Revision

Hey Ladies! This week and next week will be what is written on the post below. The third Thursday, the 21st, I found a fun thing to do at Miller Outdoor Theater instead of going to Whit Johnson again. The theater is doing Princess and the Pea at 11am on the 21st! We'll also do the cultural hall activity on the 28th as written below on the last post. Hope this all makes sense!

7/7 Whit Johnson Park at 10am
7/14 Riverwalk Complex Pool at 10am
7/21 Miller Outdoor Theater at 11am - Princess and the Pea!
7/28 Cultural Hall at church(bring bikes balls and other active stuff) at 10am

Hey Ladies! I haven't been totally "with it" with playgroup, but I talked with Emily and got some good ideas for July! We'll switch things up...

We'll meet at 10am each week, like we have been.

The first and third Thursday in July, we'll go to the covered park called Whit Johnson Park. This is the address. 6540 Wakeforest St., West University Place, TX 77005. It's located at the NW corner of Kirby and Holcombe within the residential area.

July 14th, we'll meet at the pool in my complex called Riverwalk. The address is 2300 Old Spanish Trail Houston, TX 77054. Once you come in through the gates, find a parking spot anywhere once you enter and the pool is to the left after the security guard office. All parking spots are up for grabs. You'll have to tell the guard that you're here for a swim party with the Arnett's. :) There's a fun waterfall area!

July 28th, we'll meet at the cultural hall at our church building for some fun! Bring balls and bikes/anything with wheels for some fun. Bring a snack, too! It'll be a good cool place to have fun.

June Playgroup

Hi Ladies! I'm leaving in a couple of days to go out of town for a month, so I'm already looking at the playgroup for June. We will continue to meet at the park for May, but starting June 2nd, we'll start going to the water park at Discovery Green. The address is 1500 McKinney, Houston, Texas 77002 - but I'm still kind of new here and don't know where the actual water park is. Will someone that views this post soon please help me find out where the actual water park is within the Discovery Green Park? Thanks so much, and I hope that all of you are doing well!

May Playgroup

For the month of May, let's do the Whit Johnson Park, 6540 Wakeforest St., West University Place, TX 77005. It's located at the NW corner of Kirby and Holcombe within the residential area. If it gets too hot during the middle of May, we'll think of a good water park. FYI: I'm changing the time to 10am for the remainder of the summer, since it's getting warm! Any comments on a good water park for the second half of May? Thanks, ladies!!!

Easter Game

Also, if any of you could think of a fun "spring-like" game we could play, that would be great!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Hey moms, let's do an easter egg hunt next Thursday, April 21st at the same Fire Engine playground! Please come with 5-filled easter eggs and a basket per child who will participate from your family. Feel free to fill it with whatever you would like! Jelly beans, chocolate, stickers, etc. Thanks! See you then!!!

For the month of April, let's meet at Fire Truck Park, located at the intersection of Lew Hill and Farber streets. We will meet every Thursday at 10:30 am. Hope to see you there!
